An Intern's Tasks will be varied, but can largely be categorized into the following activities.  If you have a special desire toward any one thing, please let us know.  You will be given assignments from any of these areas, depending on your interests and abilities.

But don't worry - you won't get all of them, just a bite.  As you do any of these things in depth, you may list them on your Intern Portfolio, (just refer to this page and copy relevant parts to your own document) which will be a good document to include with your resume for your career development.

    • The world of Renovation Psychology® is brand new.  We are succeeding by being creative, careful, and by listening to the results we get as we try new things.  You may be part of this exciting process in an opportunity that comes long very rarely.
    • Things may not be precisely defined like they are in school.  That is part of the real world and certainly part of the creative process.  When you are in need of clear definitions, ask - it might spur others on to better answers.
    • We will try as much as possible to be specific and structured in our expectations for interns, but we ask for some adjustment on both ends here.
    • Bring up suggestions as often as you see fit.  Best way to get them in is either at a meeting where someone is taking notes, or send Dr. Debi or your supervisor and email.
